We spent three weeks with the A-Van and had a wonderful time. The most important bit: Ernesto, the person behind Campervanz and who hand-built the Van, is super kind, helpful and always quickly replied to any questions we had. This helped us greatly to have a smooth trip. And it's a nice contrast to the big rental companies for whom you are just another number. The A-Van is charming with a super comfy bed and lots of amenities such as a hot outside shower. It is a bit dated and a manual, so driving it takes some getting used to. It was reliable and consumed little diesel, definitely a plus given the long distances in NZ. Definitely recommend Ernesto's Campervanz!

Working with Campervanz Rentals was a breeze. The owner was super communicative, very helpful, always available. The van I rented (GI Joe) was an excellent vehicle, spacious and full of everything I could possibly need. I’ve rented several vans in New Zealand before and this was by far my favorite. I can’t recommend this enough if you want to have a great New Zealand adventure

Even when I ran into some issues during my trip, he was able to help me out on short notice, which gave me lots of peace of mind for the remainder of the trip. Rentamos la camper por 21 días para recorrer Nueva Zelanda. Recorrimos la isla norte y sur , anduvimos por todos lados y nunca tuvimos un problema con el vehículo. La empresa siempre respondió nuestras dudas, excelente servicio al cliente. Excelente vehículo, con todas las comodidades para dormir y demás elementos para desayunar, almorzar, toallas, cocina, agua, luz, cargador. Estamos muy conforme con el servicio brindado por esta empresa y con la camper que rentamos. además son buenas personas. Le deseamos lo mejor y que sigan prosperando. Recomiendo ampliamente la empresa y sus vans.

The van was 10/10, and the service was just as great. Ernesto was always very accommodating and shared fantastic tips that made our New Zealand adventure even better!
